Where Professional Growth Meets Real Escape

Learn. Connect. Escape.

The Learning Escape was created for behavior professionals who are passionate about their work but also crave rest, inspiration, and community. We know firsthand how challenging it can be to balance continuing education with real rejuvenation—and that’s why we’re redefining the way CEUs are earned.

Our inaugural event is a cruise, but this is just the beginning.

Who we are

We’re board-certified behavior analysts and passionate educators who believe that learning is more powerful when it’s paired with real connection and memorable experiences. With years of experience in the field, we’ve attended the stuffy hotel ballroom conferences—and we knew there had to be a better way.

M.Ed., BCBA

Rachel is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been dedicated to supporting individuals with autism since 2010. She became a BCBA in 2014 and has worked closely with families across school, home, and community settings—delivering individualized, evidence-based support rooted in compassion, collaboration, and care.

Over the years, Rachel has led countless parent trainings, created comprehensive safety and behavior support plans, and supervised school teams with insight and heart.

Today, she combines her background as a BCBA with her passion for travel as a Certified Autism Travel Advisor. She specializes in helping neurodivergent individuals and their families enjoy meaningful, accessible vacations tailored to their unique needs—whether it’s their first trip or a long-awaited dream adventure.

Rachel is the visionary behind the idea of hosting a BCBA continuing education event on a cruise ship—bringing together learning, connection, and adventure in one unforgettable experience. As the co-leader of BCBAs at Sea, she knows this is just the beginning of an epic future for professionals who want to grow while living life to the fullest.

As a mom of three and a frequent traveler, Rachel understands the importance of making professional development both meaningful and manageable. Whether it’s Disney, cruising, international adventures, or professional retreats, her mission with The Learning Escape is to help others combine continuing education with real-life joy—because your growth doesn’t have to come at the expense of your peace.

Anses is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, award-winning travel advisor, and proud Puerto Rican professional passionate about helping others grow—both in their careers and in life.

She began working in the ABA field in 2018 and became a BCBA in 2021 after completing her Master of Science in Behavior Analysis at Simmons University. As a bilingual provider, Spanish being her first language, Anses brings cultural understanding and clear, compassionate communication to the families she supports. Her professional experience spans homes, clinics, schools, and communities across Texas, California, and New York—serving clients ages 1.5 to 24. She’s known for her bright, thoughtful presence, her ability to explain complex concepts in an approachable way, and her genuine care for the teams and families she serves.

Alongside her work as a BCBA, Anses is also a renowned travel advisor. As a Group Travel Expert and Certified Autism Travel Advisor, she has helped countless couples, families, and professionals plan experiences that are both seamless and unforgettable. She’s led retreats, built curated travel experiences, and collaborated with tourism boards—all while mentoring other agents using the same systems-thinking and social fluency she developed in her ABA career.

As a wife, Anses knows the importance of carving out intentional time with your partner—and as a BCBA, she understands how rare those opportunities can be in a demanding field like ours. That’s what makes The Learning Escape so meaningful: it’s a chance to invest in your professional growth while reconnecting with what matters most.

By co-leading BCBAs at Sea, Anses brings not only her clinical insight but also her travel planning expertise—ensuring every detail supports a time of real learning, real rest, and real connection.
